Aims to list all theses relating to Derbyshire accepted for higher degrees since 1898 in British universities and colleges. The majority are concerned with history, geography or the natural sciences, although aras as varied as archaeology, education, politics, religion and medicine are also included. This is the first attempt to compile such al ist for Derbyshire and over 600 items have been located. A very useful addition to Derbyshire bibliography in making accessible a large volume of valuable but little known material relating to the county.
